Here at The Drifting Bear Co we provide products that are made to last a lifetime. We are passionate about the environment, the ocean, our planet, and the future of our children.
Packaging
Packaging
We are committed to using plastic-free, recyclable or biodegradable packaging where possible. The majority of the packaging we use consists of paper and card. Our regular sized prints are packaged (and always have been) in clear sleeves made from corn starch and are fully biodegradable, breaking down to just CO2 & H2O. Our cushions and blankets are packaged in fully biodegradable bags made from sugar cane. They are also carbon neutral and fully recyclable.
Energy
Drifting Bear HQ in South Devon is 100% powered by UK generated renewable electricity.
The energy we use is harvested from the sun, wind and rain.

Sustainable Oak
All the oak for our best selling wood blocks is sourced from sustainable forests.
Cushions
All our cushion covers are available in 100% organic natural cotton or a vegan faux suede. Off cuts are sent to a donkey sanctuary to make nose covers for the donkeys!
Responsible Down Standards
All our duck feather filling is certified under the ‘Responsible Down Standards’. The Responsible Down Standard aims to ensure that down and feathers come from animals that have not been subjected to an unnecessary harm.
We plant trees
For each order placed, we work with our reforestation partners around the globe to plant one tree in an area of the world that needs it most. Read more about our tree planting here.
Modern Slavery
We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking. We recognise that slavery and human trafficking is a real yet hidden issue in our society. We will not tolerate slavery and human trafficking in our business or supply chain. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that any form of slavery is not taking place in our own business or supply chains.
